Based on the 12th century tale of two green children who appeared in Woolpit, Suffolk, England speaking an unknown language. The name Woolpit comes from the wolf traps in the area, holes dug in the ground as traps. The set evolved as a series of circles that could be played as if looking down into a hole or up into the sun, or suggest a crop circle, a modern phenomenon with their own mysteries.
