Oklahoma - Directed by Michael Mitchell - Lights by Paul Black - Costumes by Beth Dunkleberger -Fulton Theatre - 2009

This design started from the image of long curtains hanging from a suspended window, blowing in the summer breeze. This was used as a pre-show image and again  for the Ballet, and as Laurie's bedroon window in the farmhouse. A slatted cloud unit rose from the floor and merged with long curved lines of a cut drop to create the tornado in the Ballet, both units in motion. The smokehouse was all chaotic skewed lines like Judd's state of mind.

The corn field was created with vertical ropes over a painted drop
