Hamlet -  Directed by Karen Lordi - Lights by Jim Drake - Costumes by Sherry McCoul-Harper -  Dickinson College - 2002

Hamlet returns to his childhood home to find it bare and strange. A toy castle is all that remains of his youth. In an unscripted pre-show moment he finds a box of home movies and projects them on an US scrim. He performs his soliloquies to the camera and we see him in close-up. The camera is left aimed at the castle to let it create scenic images on the scrim. When the ghost of his father appears it is from the castle, seen by Horatio and the sentries on the scrim. Hamlet watches them and the image of his father thst he has created.
