Carousel  - Directed by Marc Robin - Lights by Paul Black- Costumes by Beth Dunkleberger -Fulton Theatre - 2006

This design made the most of the shapes and imagery of the carousel itself to create a ring of sky around a circle of floor that suggested heaven looking down at earth. Combined with this was the lighthouse's metaphoric meaning of steadfast patience. The ring was a curved lightbox. The outside was scrim-covered and suggested sky or sometimes water. The inside had shapes and lights that were the carousel's canopy. Heaven, where they look down on earth and the imperfect creatures who live there was centered around a giant lighthouse fresnel lens and smaller fresnel stars
